B&T's Koury Joins MHCP

Connie Koury has joined McGraw-Hill Children's Publishing as v-p of sales. Koury had most recently served as v-p of marketing at Baker & Taylor. In the newly created post, Koury will direct all aspects of the publisher's sales efforts; MHCP sales vice-presidents John Molish (trade), Ron Peek (mass market) and Kaye Pickering (educational) will now report to her. MHCP president Vince Douglas said that with the recent additions of the former Tribune Education division plus Frank Schaffer Publications, the company was broadening its sales department and was looking for someone with Koury's experience in sales and marketing. Koury will report to Douglas.
