B and T, Bowker Link to Alibris

Alibris.com, the used, rare and out-of-print online bookstore, has reached an agreement to list its titles online with Baker & Taylor's Title Source II and R.R. Bowker's www.booksinprint.com Web site. The separate deals give Alibris direct links to book buyers at schools and libraries, beyond its proprietary Web site.
The new arrangement allows librarians looking for out-of-print, out-of-stock or rare books to link directly from Title Source II's and www.booksinprint.com's bibliographic records to listings on the Alibris Web site, where orders will be fulfilled. A similar deal with Ingram Books has listed Alibris titles through Ingram's iPage service since early 2000.
