As noted last week in this space, there is a slew of books coming about the controversial 2000 Presidential elections. Yet another book on the subject making the bestseller charts is The Betrayal of America: How the Supreme Court Undermined the Constitution and Chose Our President, by famed L.A. prosecutor and Helter Skelter author Vincent Bugliosi. (Alan M. Dershowitz's Supreme Injustice is #17 on PW's current list). Thunder Mountain Press launched the trade paperback with a 40,000 first printing and reports 100,000 copies in print after five trips to press; the first printing sold out prior to the June 1 pub date. Bugliosi has been promoting the book on radio and TV, including The O'Reilly Factor, Rivera Live, Fox News Live, Court TV and more. A live Good Morning America appearance is scheduled for July 16.
