Oddest Book Title Awarded
March 31, 2008

It's official. The Bookseller Magazine has announced the oddest book title of 2007 and awarded the title its Diagram Prize.

And the winner is...

As deputy editor Joel Rickett said, “The winner, ‘If You Want Closure,’ makes redundant an entire genre of self-help tomes. So effective is the title that you don’t even need to read the book itself.”

However, do take a moment to read the publisher's synopsis:

"NATIONAL ESSENCE BESTSELLER

Want to find real, committed love? The bodyguard for women's hearts reveals the minds of men in this tough-love guide to relationships.

After decades of preying on women as a pimp and a hustler, Big Boom knows all the games men play. He's now given up his player card, exposing the motivations of men and providing women with down-to-earth advice on how to create a fulfilling, loving relationship.

From sex with the ex to first dates, from the first look to the morning after, Boom leaves nothing out. His straight-talking advice exposes women's weaknesses and is invaluable to any woman determined to avoid common mistakes that lead to heartbreak.

This unique guide will show women not only how to find true love with Mr. Right, but also how to avoid Mr. Never-Gonna-Happen, Mr. Infidelity, and a variety of other Mr. Wrongs."

Ladies, you'd be far better off, IMHO, listening to the advice of Tionna "Tee" Smalls.

I usually get closer in my relationships, outside of my relationship, by opening my legs, and others. So I don't know what's up with this title.

I cannot find fault in someone who is trying to steer women away from men who want to exploit them and towards men who love them, faithfully and truly. The Poet www.abstractdev.com/publisher.html
