I've been writing this blog for nearly two months, and I've heard from some readers in comments, and some others by email -- but I realized this week that many people might not want to leave comments, and might not know how to reach me by email. My email address is the reading writer at gmail dot com.

I'd love to hear from you if you have a book you'd like to see me read or recommend, if you have comments and/or criticism, or if you'd just like to say hello. I am happy to consider ideas for regular features, authors to interview, books to check out, and more.

I have a lot of blogging to get to, and I promise next week I'll have several substantial posts for you. In the meantime, my thoughts are with anyone who lives in a part of the country suffering from weather trauma, particularly Kansans and the citizens of Greensburg.
