Educating Peter Book Party at Centovini

I've been a negligent blogger but I have been getting around. There was Lettie Teague's book party for Educating Peter in which she teaches Rolling Stone film critic Peter Travers about wine. (Lettie is the wine editor at Food & Wine magazine.) The party was at Centovini on 25 West Houston Street and while I've been hanging around Houston Street since the it was two lanes (yes, it was.I promise you). I couldn't for the life of me figure out the cross streets but I knew if it was West Houston, I could find my way home. Dana Cowin the editor of Food & Wine was at the bar with a glass of red looking chic enough to give that other editor a run for her money. Lettie looked fabulous as well, and Peter for the occasion was wearing a tie with wine labels printed on it . I'd forgotten just how glamourous the world of glossy magazines can be. Someone with a big camera and flash even took my picture.
