Sexiest Man Alive?
November 14, 2007
Matt Damon was named
People Magazine's Sexiest Man Alive. It just doesn't seem fair that the older men get, the better looking they get. Even Matt concedes, "You've given an aging suburban dad the ego-boost of a lifetime." I'm ok with the pick this year, but my all time favorite has to go to Harrison Ford with his sexy, quirky smirk. You can leave your favs in the comments. Ok, now that I have your attention...on with the blog.
Well, the WW ladies have really caught on and the feedback has been very positive. So, now I've added some friends to the mix who are just as nutsy about books as I am. Sit back and get ready to pick up some great ideas for some exciting upcoming reads.

As the Argeneau family patriarch, Lucian has cultivated a callous aloofness that intimidates his family and co-workers, yet these same traits allow him to pursue rogue immortals with the ruthlessness required to protect the secrets of his society. Suddenly stuck with the care of a recent victim of a rogue, he finds himself stumbling around Leigh Gerard in a manner that bruises his dignity while melting his icy heart. This entry into the continuing Argeneau family saga is romantic, sexy and laugh-out-loud funny.

The second book in the Stargazer series has Ruben, an interstellar trader crashing on a remote orb. Slave Tess and her 6 year old son save him while he is on the run from false charges taking them along. Ever felt like someone was reading your mind? Perhaps they are. This furturistic novel reveals the use and sources of telepathic powers in a unique way.
See if it capivates your senses. Mine are still tingling.

Games of Command by Linnea Sinclair
Reviewed by Joyce
Linnea Sinclair’s books are reminiscent of traditional Sci-Fi with well-conceived descriptions of science, hardware and technical applications fit for a space adventure. With romantic and vulnerable characters, Games of Command fills the needs of romance junkies and techno geeks in a smooth blend. “Sass” Sebastian is tough, but when she crosses the deck of Admiral Kel-Paten’s warship, she just may have met someone who’s tougher…

Cat Deck the Halls by Shirley Rousseau Murphy

Joe Grey is a P.I. who also just happens to be a cat. A murder beneath the village Christmas tree and the only witness is a young child. Joe and his pals rush in to solve the crime. A very clever Christmas cat mystery. Everyone would feel much safer with these cats watching over the town. Makes me look at my own cat differently and wondering what she's thing. A must read for any cat lover.
Bottom line: Sexy is in the eye of the beholder....and some of these guys have given us an eyeful.
