Your Turn Friday

October 31, 2008

Boo!  Happy Halloween!  I've been gone all week (did you notice?).  Thanks for reading the recycled stuff.

So, since this is Friday, it's your turn to take over.  You know the drill.  Tell everyone what you've been reading lately.

Make me proud.

Bottom Line:  " I'll bet living in a nudist colony takes all the fun out of Halloween."  ~Author Unknown

I've been reading the three author series The Immortals by Joy Nash, Jennifer Ashley, and Robin Popp. The three have fun playing with mythology and creating an alternate "now" where death and life magic battle. It's been fun!

Just finished SKINNED by Robin Wasserman (YA). Next up is either THE DECLARATION by Gemma Malley (YA) or PLEASURE UNBOUND by Larissa Ione (a recommendation from Ann Aguirre, whose books I love!) Still deciding...probably will have finished both by the end of the weekend!

Ants live in colonies. Nudists live in camps or resorts. And even the most diehard nudist will put on clothes when it's cold. Or when there's a costume party. ;-) I know because I are one.

Hi Barbara - hope you're back with new posts soon! I just finished Veil of Lies, an excellent "medieval noir" mystery by a new novelist, Jeri Westerson. Next up is The Matters at Mansfield by Carrie Bebris. This is the latest in her series of Mr. & Mrs. Darcy mysteries, which are great, light-hearted Regency tales with a dash of the paranormal. Have loved everyone of them so far.
