Impromptu Survey

May 9, 2009
I did an impromptu survey on Twitter and I thought I'd ask here too.  Once I get all the results, I'll let you know.

Are you a reader?

An Author?

Both?

Never picked up a book?

I'll be asking in bookstores, supermarkets, doctor's offices, whereever I go.  The results may surprise us or not...we'll see.

If you'd prefer not to post a comment, you can email me at:  barbaravey@gmail.com

Remember, next Saturday is the YA blurbs.  The books have started to come in and I'm passing them out to the young adult readers.  If you know someone interested in blurbing about YA books, ages 11-22, please have them check out last Saturday's post and send me a sample blurb.  If chosen, I'll send them books and they get to keep the books they read.  Let's make this a successful program and get our kids reading just for the fun of it.

Bottom Line:
Remember your first book as a child that started you on your road to reading addiction?  Mine was Clarence, the TV Dog.

The obsessive reading led to writing, and becoming a published author led to Myspace, Facebook, and Twitter. I'll leave the blogging to you :).

Both! Like so many others, I was an obsessive reader, which led to writing, which led to blogging and other things. Publication adds another dimension, but that's fun too!
