Sore Butt Muscles Puts Joysann in ChargeMay 12, 2009
Hi Everyone! joysann here. Barbara is whining about her butt muscles after bowling yesterday, so I thought I'd give her a break from her blog writing chair, and tell about the local author event I went to the other day. Here goes: Best-selling author Wendy Corsi Staub was featured at Medina County District Library's Writers Live Luncheon on Thursday, May 6th. Along with the Friends of the Library, the Medina OH library hosts these Writers Live luncheons to give readers the opportunity to meet favorite authors, be introduced to new ones, and to hear them speak of their exciting adventures in writing and publishing. There were 220+ attendees at MCDL's 61st such event to meet Wendy Corsi Staub.
The vivacious Wendy is a fun and interesting companion and I enjoyed my time in her company, as did her captivated audience at the luncheon. Bottom Line: Now I could use the margarita I was accidentally served at dinner the night before, but had to refuse because I was driving. This blog writing is tough work! Joysann, you and I will have to have a margarita at RWA to make up for the one that went to waste! Thank you, everyone, for the compliments on the dress. I bought it on sale at Macy's in the middle of last week's book tour--I had gone in looking for a coat because I was freezing (it was much colder in the midwest than it was when I left NYC Monday morning). They said they didn't sell coats (huh?) but of course I had to browse. And buy. :-)
