Last Chance to Make "The List"

Hurry up!  Time is running out!  Wednesday is the last day to vote on BHB's Best Books of 2009. (You can still vote here)

Last Friday I invited all you readers to let me know your favorite books of 2009.  The idea was for everyone to have their say and make a list by the readers for the readers.  I appreciate all the feedback I've received and feel I need to clarify a few things.

Please only vote once, but you can vote for up to 3 books.  If you list more than 3, only the first 3 count.  You're all on the honor system.  The books must have a publishing date of 2009.  Now I realize there are still some books left to be released this year, so they are eligible, but next year we will be doing things a little different.

You don't have to be registered with Publishers Weekly to be able to vote.  Everyone is eligible to comment.

For next year, the 2010 Beyond Her Book Reader's Best Book List will take place the first week of November.  Books published from November 2009-October 2010 will be eligible.  Only nonfiction books for this list.  I know there's a lot of great nonfiction available, but that can be a different list somewhere else. I'm letting you know now so you can all save the date and start compiling your list now.  Let's make this a fun annual event.

But there's still time to vote this year.  I'm closing the list at 10 p.m. CST Wednesday so I have time to finish tallying up the votes and getting the list on Thursday's blog.  Good Luck to everyone!

Bottom Line:  Time to start Tweeting, Facebooking, MySpacing and blogging for those last couple of votes...almost just like election night.
