The Ladies Have Their Say
September 12, 2007
Those darling WW ladies came through again. Thank goodness, because I feel like such a slacker reading only 3 books a week now. But they are doing such a great job, it's only a matter of time before I'm replaced here. Well, maybe this is the last time they get to talk. :)

Bride for a Single Dad by
Laura Iding
Reviewed by Debra

Sugar Daddy by Lisa Kleypas
Reviewed by Jan
Lisa Kleypas has taken all the ingredients of a good novel and blended them together. Liberty Jones, named for the Texas county where she was born, endures poverty in a trailer park, youthful romantic awakenings and raises her young sister after their mother is tragically killed. By her own gumption she goes on to beauty school and a successful career where she is befriended by a "Sugar Daddy," a relationship much deeper than one might think. Mystery, family secrets, true love and a tad of "hot sex" round out this great romantic read.
The Dangerous Protector by Janet Chapman
Reviewed by Loretta
A relationship on edge begins this funny, sexy story -- she loves him, she loves him not. It also encompasses a mysterious contamination of the waters in Maine, rendering seafood unfit for consumption and the plot therein with all the twists and turns Janet Chapman makes so real. This book is a sequel to The Seductive Imposter. Try it....you'll like it.
A Murder Among Friends by Ramona Richards
Reviewed by Rhonda
A Murder Among Friends is just as the title promises, but it leaves you wondering which one isn't really a "friend." Ramona Richards keeps you guessing throughout the whole book. Suspenseful right up until the end.
Bottom line: Double your reading time...read a book and find a friend to read another one and have him/her tell you about it...then read it yourself anyway.
