From author Marianne Stephens: Ellora's Cave (ECPI) is considering the possibility of having its own CONVENTION in 2009. Authors and editors from ECPI would attend. The convention would be open to all aspiring authors, fans, readers, and booksellers and the idea is to possibly offer a 3-day event (over a weekend), an awards luncheon, a celebration party, workshops and a book fair. If this sounds like something you'd be interested in attending, please contact Valerie for more details and give her the following information: Name, address, email address, phone (optional), number of guests (not including yourself), whether you need a room with one or two beds, and if you need a smoking or non-smoking room. (Another possible conference to attend, I'll have to check my calendar...wait, I have an Ellora's Cave calendar. What month was that again?)

Barbara! How neat that you included me in your blog. ANd guess what? We're in West Virginia, in the RV, with our doggies. It's terrific! Not sure exactly where we'll go or what we'll see, but we have a few things planned. I just know that I need some time off, and this is the perfect way to get it! Big hugs to you. Lori
What a great picture of Lori and family. They are the nicest people on the planet. COngrats Lori and Allen
Lori, What a great looking family! Luke is adorable:) Hope you're having a wonderful, relaxing time in WVa. Hugs, Jules
Hi, Barb! I love your Monday columns with the variety of news. I especially like the photo of Lori and her family. I can't imagine being the lone woman with all that testosterone, though! ;-) Happy anniversary to Lori and Allen! -- Marcia ;-)
Wow Lori!! I just got back from West Virginia last night. We are vacationing with our best friends in North Carolina and dedided to go visit all their family for the 4th since they are from Morgantown!! WVU!!! LOL We head back to Oregon on Wed. but have enjoyed our 2 week break to the east!! I hope you enjoy your adventure in the RV!! How fun!! If you head to North Carolina let me know. The Outer Banks was a great beach getaway!! You have to check it out!! Oh and Congradulations on your 30 years!!! I love the family picture!! Thanks for sharing! Big Hugs Tara
Good morning, Barbara and Lori! I love the official Foster family photo. It's great of all of you. Can't wait to hear about the maiden voyage of the new RV... Janice
I could probably be the frumpy "before" picture of a few of Dorchester's heroines who get a make-over...but it's not photo-worthy!
Marianne thank you for mentioning the Ellora's Cave Convention. I already signed in and can't wait to see a lot of fellow authors and friends.
Barbara, I love reading your Monday columns, but I love even more your Saturady Blurb Special and my book cover for TO LOVE A HERO on your page. I can't thank you enough and can't wait to meet you in San Francisco. Waving to Joyce. A big thank you. Hope to see you in San Francisco.
Thanks, Barbara, for all your wonderful posts! I plan to be at the Ellora's Cave convention and hope to meet many readers there! And, get another chance to visit with other ECPI authors and staff. AND, I hope you'll consider coming, too!
As an author for The Lotus Circle, an ECPI label (I just copleted Book 3 of a psychic intrigue series) I think an ECPI convention would be excellent. It would not only give the authors a chance to meet each toher and the wonderful staff but also and more improtantly the readers, reviewers and booksellers who make us what we are. It gets my vote.
I write for Ellora's Cave and would love to attend an ECPI convention. How great to mingle with other authors and meet the really important people-those who review our books and those who buy them.

Congrats to Lori and Al! My husband and I just celebrated our 3 year anniversary. lol Very thrilled about the Telly win for Karen Rose! Very spooky video!!! Very thrilling book!
Ok, total fangirl moment. James Patterson? SQUEEEEEEEE! I adore his YA series about Maximum Ride. When you see him, tell him this 47 year old wants more Fang and gang :)
Wow congrats to Circle of Seven & Karen Rose on their Telly Win!!! Lori and family look lovely
Lori as I have said before you do not look like a woman who has been married for thirty years! You and your family look great. Have a wonderful time being away from the work for the week you do take. Hugs!
Having met Lori and her husband at the Get Together, they are the most wonderful people, what a great and beautiful family! Congratulations to the Foster Clan!! AND- Go Liz and Marianne! Woot! Hot stuffs! The contest sounds so cool!
Thanks for mentioning the contest, Barb! It really is a fun idea and we can't wait to see what people come up with for costumes!! :) Judging from what you see at RT every year, romance readers sure are creative. Marianne
WOW. As an Ellora's Cave author I'm dying to mix it up with other fabulous authors and editors and mainly the READERS. I can't think of anything more FUN than to hang with these cool people. I'll be there. Sounds like a great party!!!
Congrats on your anniversary, Lori! And thank you to Sheila and Barb for including SCREAM FOR ME's Telly win!
Lori, Congratulations! It's cool seeing pictures of your family after hearing you talk about them at RT! My hubby & I celebrated our 35th in June!
Lori, taking a trip to my part of the country huh. Wv is beautiful. Hawks nest is gorgeous of you get that way, the hills are kinda steep for an rv, but worth the trip. Happy 30th! jody
Well, congrats to Lori and surviving 30 years of marriage and having 3 sons (my mom had to suffer from having 3 sons too). ...I but wanted to note that Marianne and Liz are TOTALLY SMOKIN' HOT!!! Forget the brawny guys--if those two were on the bookcovers, I'd buy more romance books. :-)
Lori, I know I posted yesterday, but I have a question. At RT you said you were used to all the testerone. I see you have a grandson (of course a boy--what else?), so there is or was another female. How did she react to all the testerone?

I'm checking back in late, folks, because the first 2 RV parks we went to didn't have internet. That's both good and bad. Bad, because I was having withdrawal, but good because it kept me out walking and doing more. LOL Jody, we went to Hawk's Nest, and yes, it's GORGEOUS! We did an underground mining tour (pretty cool) and a jet boat tour (very relaxing!) and saw lots of falls and trails and stuff. Now we're in Hocking Hills. We drove in during a raging storm! Egads. Way to break in the RV! LOL Deborah, funny that you should ask that. All my boys are currently single, even the daddy. They've had LOTS of girlfriends, but I guess they're pretty choosy. ;-) But my boys are all ultimate gentlemen and pretty old fashioned about pampering women, so I don't think anyone would mind the testosterone too much. LOL Thank you to everyone to sent congrats on the anniversary. And my own congrats to Sheila and Karen Rose! WTG, ladies! Hugs to all! Lori
Yikes--Barb--that trailer was so scary--makes me visualize enough of the book to know I want to read it now! And the Lori Foster pic & info. was priceless! Thanks--it's so nice to place a picture with the name!
What a great family picture!
