My condolences, dear Barb!! I have a 58 yr. old cousin with pancreatic cancer so I have some feelings for this. The last Smart Talk is Tues. 6/3 with Rita Moreno--will you be able to interview her?
I'm so sorry for your loss.
My sympathy on your loss, Barbara. And I'll add my kudos to the Pink Ladies for taking part in the Avon Walk!
Barbara, my condolences. It's always sad to lose someone close. Your two nieces are terrific! Yay for them! When I see the book by Lori Foster et al, I'm buying it.
My condolences to you and your sister. Pancreatic cancer is ruthless. I lost a dear friend to it.
Barbara: my deepest condolences. I know its been a hard few weeks... thanks for continuing to share with us during this time!
I'm so sorry for you and your sister. What a terrible loss for your both.
Barbara - my condolences to you and your family. He's in a better place and left cherished memories for all.
Oh, Barbara. I'm so sorry for your loss. My heart goes out to you and your sister and your family.
Thanks, Barbara, for The MoonQuest recognition. The award, though, was given out (without me, sigh) this past Friday.
On a more serious note, condolences to you and your family.

I appreciate all your kind words and thoughts, but let us now get excited for those whose wonderful news we're sharing today.
Barb, I am so very sorry to hear of your loss. I hope that you do make it to the weekend, and that being with friends will comfort you. I'll keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers. To anyone who's interested, our booksigning is open to the public from 3 to 5:00. We're at the Marriott in the Streets of West Chester, Ohio. (More details on my website at www.lorifoster.com under the community link.) Thank you so much. Lori
My deepest sympathies for your loss, Barbara.
Deepest condolences Barb. You and your family are in my thoughts. On a brighter note, I hope everyone has a great time in Ohio!!! Have something yummy, chocolate always works, for me! Kudos to the kids for the Cancer Walk!!! YAY!!
Barbara, I'm so sorry for your loss. My thoughts are with you. As for the Get Together, I'm sick I won't be able to attend this year. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the event Lori and Dianne put on. They not only throw an amazing weekend full of fun, but they make sure to donate funds to very worthy causes like the Battered Women's Shelter. Even though I'll be absent, my publisher is taking some of my books, so I'll be there in spirit:) Hugs to you all! Jules Bennett
I'm so sorry for your loss, Barb. On the other hand, I'm very excited about attending my very first Lori Foster event.
I'm sorry at the loss of your brother-in-law at such a young age and know you a great comfort to both of them. I look forward to meeting you in Cincinnati. You will have a wonderful time. And yes the Cincinnati, Oh airport is located in Northern KY. The plane will probably approach over my house in North of Cincinnati. I will be out on the deck waving to you.
So sorry for your loss. I lost my mother to gallbladder/liver cancer last September, so I have some knowledge of what you must be going through. Thanks for promoting the LF get-together. It's a great time to be had by all as well as a good cause for the various charities it supports! Look forward to seeing you there! Joni-a devoted reader of romance
So sorry for your loss. Lori's Get Together is a fantastic event. This will be my second year attending. I can't wait!
There are no words for losses - but I send my deepest sympathies. Lori's event is wonderful - for all sorts of reasons - including Lori's generosity to so many charities. This is my second year. I'm looking forward to it.
I'm sorry for the loss of your brother-in-law. I'll be attending the LF get-together again this year. It's the 4th year they've had it and the proceeds always go to a deserving cause. Everyone is so nice and it's a great way to meet your favorite authors and find some new ones.
I'm sorry for your loss, Barbara. The Lori Foster / Dianne Castell event is going to be FAB! I'm the hostess for the Friday night event and trust me, much fun will be had. :)
Barbara I am sorry for your lost. Looking forward to meeting you at The get together. I can't wait to get my copy of POL
Barbara, I'm so sorry for the loss your family has gone through. I do hope you can make it to the Lori Foster event. It's so much fun!
Barbara - So glad it looks like you'll be in Cincinnati! I'll be there with bells on... what a fun and "no pressure" event. Everyone should make it sooner or later. It's a blast. And Barbara - I've been out of town for 10 days and missed your sad news. I'll be thinking of your family! Janice Maynard
Barbara, I'll keep you and your family in my prayers. I'm so sorry for your loss.
Barbara, I'll keep you and your family in my prayers. I'm so sorry for your loss.
I am so very sorry for your loss. You and your sister are blessed to have each other as a support at this difficult time. It seems odd to change topics, but I will also be at the Lori Foster Weekend. I believe that it is a brilliant idea to bring so many authors and readers together to chat and be entertained and also raise funds for several different charity organizations. I am looking forward to my time there.

I am looking forward to your coverage of Lori Foster's get together. I always feel like I'm living your adventure. Love the videos.
Oh, Barbara, I'm so sorry for your family's loss. Holly
Barbara -- my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I enjoyed meeting you in Chicago in April and hope you'll be able to make Lori's event. I've been to all of them, and they're a guaranteed good time. I'm also looking forward to reading THE POWER OF LOVE and buying copies of the charity anthology to give out as Christmas presents. And I'm thrilled to have the opportunity to donate a short story to the June 2009 charity anthology, TAILS OF LOVE, which has an animal theme and will raise money for a Cincinnati no-kill animal shelter. -- Marcia ;-)
My sincere condolences, Barb, and to your sister as well. I lost my father to pancreatic cancer when I was 23 and he was only 55--it's a truly devastating disease. Kate
I'm posting this from Grand Island, Nebraska--listening to tornado warnings!--where my husband and I spent the night on our way to Lori's gathering in Ohio. We will be in Des Moines tomorrow after a few stops near here, and should reach Ohio and the conference in time to register on Friday. I'm doing pictures and updates--along with our bookstore schedule--at www.katedouglas.com/june2008 Can't wait to see everyone who's attending!
Congrats to Jenny & Kelly on the walk! My thanks to them for my sister who died of breast cancer at 48 yrs. of age, 22 yrs. ago. She delayed medical attention while her youngest daughter planned her wedding so as not to upset the plans--please do self-exams!!
I'm so sorry to hear about your family's loss. I hope your sister is doing okay. I am bringing my own sister to the Lori Foster Get Together with me -- it's my first official booksigning. Since she wouldn't pretend to BE me, I have to go through with it :)
I'm sorry to hear about your loss.
Barbara, I'm so very sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
Barbara my heart and prayers are with you and your family as you recover from this loss. May you all keep the special memories of this courageous man close to your hearts.
