Hello, You may be interested in the current controversy over two books currently advertised on Amazon. The books are:Directive 19: The Memoirs of SS Sturmbannfhrer Rolf Otto Shiller Honor Denied: The Combat Memoirs of SS Radio Operator Karl Metzger Both are advertised as memoirs of SS men and compiled by Paul K. Harker. Here is a quote from the author about Directive 19: “I decided whether you lived or died. That was my job. "I was at the forefront of planning, organizing and carrying out the deportations to the concentration camps. I submitted recommendations to Superior Officers regarding the most cost effective and efficient methods to utilize in the camps to ensure the maximum number of executions on a daily basis. I participated in the killings of civilians and Jews conducted by Einsatzgruppen Units in the Ukraine and continued to offer proposals on means to expedite the process. I have killed with ruthless disregard for humanity. I ordered young German soldiers to kill with ruthless disregard for humanity. I personally authorized favorable reports on the use of Zyklon B as a gassing chemical and personally pulled the trigger of a machine gun to shoot civilians on the snowy steppes of the Ukraine. I hanged Polish, French and Dutch civilians during summary and reprisal executions. I am a criminal." About the Author Transcriber and translator Paul Harker spent 6 years working with the late Mr. Rolf Schiller to compile the memoirs related in Directive 19. Mr. Harker resides on the east coast of the USA and is currently researching a follow-up historical work. Why would these be of interest to you? They are fiction. The author has allegedly created reviewers to give himself five star ratings including a fictitious Rabbi. He is gaming the Amazon system and succeeding. Unfortunately the Holocaust was not fiction, and making money off of it by publishing fictional memoirs is less then ethical.

Hi! I'm Gibby from melbourne - it's best if you have a look at my blog directive-19.blogspot.com (remember the hyphen!) for the ful sp on Paul K Harker and his books! He's a nasty little Holocaust Denier dressed up in fine clothes, but some blokes are working to have the books removed from public view!

Update - Helion in the UK, the respected military history bookstore, has pulled "Directive 19" from sale...as they "do not sell fiction"!

Helion have likewise pulled Harker's "Honor Denied" from sale for the same reason.
