Brown Tops April e-Book Sales

by Calvin Reid, PW NewsLine -- Publishers Weekly, 5/12/2004

It's a clean sweep for Da Vinci Code author Dan Brown, whose e-books dominate the top four slots of the Open eBook Forum's April e-book bestseller list.

While his runaway bestselling novel The Da Vinci Code (Doubleday) remains the top selling e-book in April, Brown's backlist titles Angels and Demons (Pocket); Deception Point (Pocket) and Digital Fortress (St. Martin's) take up the next three slots.

The rest of the top ten includes, in order, Richard Clarke's Against All Enemies; Jonathan Kellerman's Therapy; Bob Woodward's Plan of Attack; Donald Trump's How to Get Rich; Julia Quinn's The Duke and I; and Electronic Pocket Oxford English Dictionary and Thesaurus. Get the full list here.

Data on e-book sales are reported by such e-book publishers and distributors as eBooks.com, Fictionwise, OverDrive and Palm Digital Media.
