Eamon Dolan is leaving his post as editor-in-chief of Houghton Mifflin to join The Penguin Press July 9 in a similar role. He’ succeeding Scott Moyers who is joining the Wylie Agency as a director. Dolan has been at HM since 1998 and acquired and edited a number of bestsellers, including, Fast Food Nation, Three Nights in August, The God Delusion and the current bestseller How Doctors Think. Dolan will report to Penguin Press publisher Ann Godoff.
