this is a classic, MTV is going to screw this up royally, and the whole movie is going to pretty much be destroyed.

WHY THE HELL ARE MTV PLANNING TO REMAKE THIS CULT CLASSIC??? It may be the dawn of remakes theatrically - but believe me, there will be enough fans boycotting any form of another version. There is only one RHPS and it's 34 years old...
What are MTV planning to remake next??? The Neverending Story? Star Wars? The Wizard of Oz...
I think they need a reality check???

Rocky Horror PIcture Show, Is a classic. If they remake this movie, im going to be very dissapointed. Im a true fan of this movie, as is my girl friend. Rocky Horror is more than just a movie to us, it brings a feeling into our heart, a feeling of happy and warmpth with a slight feeling of being creeped out, but in a good way. This feeling is brought by not just the music, but the people singing the music. Tim curry, susan sarandon, Barry Bostwick, Richard O'Brien, Patricia Quinn, Nell Campbell ,Jonathan Adams, Peter Hinwood, Charles Gray, Meat Loaf, These are all people that cant, and never will be replaced.
PLease mtv..dont do this.

I don't enjoy most remakes of anything in pop culture. I say, leave it alone! I did not like the new "Hairspray" either.

I am so sick of MTV and their role in the dumbing down of America. This...a Rocky Horror remake....is sacrilege. I hope someone stops this madness.

I really do hope that this is not pulled off but, if it is, Cillian Murphy would make an amazing Dr. Frankenfurter! Caught myself thinking this while watching him in 'Breakfast on Pluto'... doubtful it would ever be possible, but it would be so cool!

This is unquestionably WRONG. Why would you need to fix what isn't broken? MTV Studios is wasting their time. New music? Psh. How will you EVER compare to Time Warp? Hm? And as for rumors of Zac Efron playing Rocky, that would be like adding insult to injury. It'll turn into Twilight and ruin it. Twilight was great before they made a movie. So is Rocky Horror. Don't make it popular again... Please... Let it be.

Its okay to remake rhps but y leave out good music. Can i play Magenta. That would be awesome. Im serious.
