Natasha Preston’s romance Broken Silence tops the list of bestselling titles on the Smashwords platform for the month of January. The novel, in a display of significant staying power, debuted on the Smashwords list in 2014, has been the #1 book since November of last year.
In at #2 is another romance: the five-volume Revelation Series: The Complete Boxed Set by Randi Cooley Wilson, who also nabbed the #20 and #21 spots with two titles from the series, Redemption and Restraint.
As always, romance continues to reign at Smashwords, with books from the genre taking up 21 of the 25 spots on the list.
Notable for its genre and massive sales spike—up 13 slots from December—is I Still Want It, a book of poetry by blogger Derrick Jaxn, who also snatched the #25 spot with the novel A Cheating Man’s Heart.
