The second annual YALLFest in Charleston, S.C., held on November 10, brought together 47 authors – and their readers – for the largest festival in the South specifically devoted to young adult literature. Jonathan Sanchez of the local indie Blue Bicycle Books directed the fest; Margaret Stohl (r., with Beautiful Creatures series co-author Kami Garcia), Melissa de la Cruz (the Blue Bloods series), and Pseudonymous Bosch (the Secret series) helped organize this year’s offerings, which included 18 panel discussions plus book signings by all the authors.
