Random House Children’s Books announced a number of changes within its marketing division.

John Adamo, senior v-p, marketing, RHCB, announced the hire of Kimberly Lauber as director of marketing. Lauber and her team will focus on picture books, middle grade, and young adult titles and authors. She joins RHCB from Chronicle Books, where she was director of marketing and publicity for the Children’s Group.

Additionally, Laura Antonacci will join the school and library team on August 12 as senior manager, library marketing, reporting to Adrienne Waintraub. Antonacci was previously at Penguin Young Readers Group, where she was marketing manager, education and library marketing.

Adamo's announcement also included several promotions.

Kerri Benvenuto is promoted to executive director of marketing, licensing, and proprietary brands. Lauren Adams has been promoted to marketing coordinator; Nora MacDonald has been promoted to associate marketing manager and will continue to report to Feld.

Santhana Souksamrane has been promoted to producer, Linda Camacho has been promoted to marketing associate, and Beth Conte has been promoted to executive director, marketing production and operations.

Two newly created positions were also among the announced changes. Rachel Feld is promoted to the newly created position of executive director, consumer development. Lynn Kestin is promoted to the newly created position of director, content development.
