The recent Comic-Con International, held from July 17-21 in San Diego, attracted 130,000-plus fans of “comics and related popular art forms,” as its mission statement explains. Those related art forms are receiving increasing attention at the show, as popular YA page-to-screen translations claim even more of the spotlight.
