For the forthcoming fifth edition of its Kids & Family Reading Report, Scholastic undertook a national survey of children ages six to 17 and their parents, in which more than 1,000 respondents weighed in on everything from reading habits at home to favored genres. Though the complete report will not be released until next month, we’ve got an advance peek, in the form of an infographic detailing what kids say they want in books.
