Martin Dugard and Bill O'Reilly's Killing Jesus was the new top selling title on Apple's iBooks bestseller list for the week ended October 7. Last week's #1, Dr. Sleep, Stephen King's sequel to The Shining, slid two spots to #3. New releases Gone by James Patterson, and David and Goliath by Malcolm Gladwell landed at #2 and #5 respectively.

The Reason I Jump, novelist David Mitchell's translation of a autistic boy's memoir (originally published in Japan), hit #6 on the list. Published in August, the book also shot up to #2 from #556 on Amazon after Jon Stewart called the memoir "the most illuminating book" he's ever read in an interview with Mitchell on October 1.
