Audible, Inc. has created a new literary award established in memory of Christopher Doheny, a long-time employee who died on February 20, at age 31, of cystic fibrosis. The Christopher Doheny Award, which recognizes excellence in fiction or nonfiction on the topic of serious illness, will be administered and awarded annually by The Center for Fiction.

The award will include a $10,000 prize and publication and promotion of the book in print and audio editions. Writers are encouraged to contact DohenyAward@audible.com for information on submitting their unpublished works.
