The Lippincott Massie McQuilkin agency has struck a deal with Irene Skolnick to handle all the back office operations of her eponymous agency.
The Irene Skolnick Agency was founded in 1994 and some of its authors include Allegra Goodman, Joyce Johnson, Susan Jane Gilman, Vikram Seth, the estate of David Rakoff and Peter Cameron.
Skolnick said of the arranegemt: "I am delighted to be moving the agency to the offices of my friends at LMQ, where I will be able to focus my energies on the parts of the job I love most--finding and nurturing literary talent. Not only does LMQ enjoy a strong reputation in the business, but their list and mine fit together, I think, brilliantly."
