After PW reported that Barnes & Noble would not be carrying books from Amazon Publishing in its stores, a report has surfaced that the retailer seems to be selling titles from the publishing imprint, at least at one documented location. PW has reached out to B&N to find out why Penny Marshall's book, My Mother Was Nuts, which was acquired by Amazon and distributed to retailers by Houghton Mifflin Harcourt's New Harvest imprint (which has a deal with Amazon); a representative for the company said B&N is not selling Amazon titles and would return with a comment on why these titles are on the retailer's shelves.
