Texas may be known for doing things on a large scale, but Brian Bolke is planning one of the country’s smallest stores for his next retail venture. Slated to open on Friday, Chapter Two in Dallas’s Highland Park Village is a 200 sq.-ft. bookstore connected to Bolke’s organic café and retail store, Number One. Chapter Two will carry 180 interior design, architecture, fashion, and cooking titles, along with international magazines. The new book shop will have a separate entrance with its own storefront.

“I have felt the Village has been missing a bookstore ever since the Rizzoli store left a decade ago. They really are the perfect gift, especially to yourself. We are thrilled to expand Number One’s retail footprint to incorporate the bookshop,” said Bolke.

Bolke is also the owner of two other high-end stores, which carry some books: Forty Five Ten and Five and Ten. The latter is also located in Highland Park Village.
