IndieBound has updated its iPhone app, unveiling the IndieBound for iPhone app version 1.5 yesterday. The new version is integrated with users’ book lists on IndieBound.org, so users can bring lists to the bookstore with them on their iPhone. Changes that users make to their lists on the iPhone are synced back to IndieBound.org, so users can share book lists with friends or create widgets for their blogs or websites.
The new version of the app also remembers a user’s preferred independent bookstore for repeat online shopping. Users who already have the IndieBound app on their iPhones can visit the App Store and check the Updates tab to get the new version.
O'Reilly Media recently included IndieBound’s app in its book Best iPhone Apps: The Guide for Discriminating Downloaders, which pubs tomorrow.
