7/25 Steve Lafler "Menage a Bughouse" Book Discussion and Signing in San Francisco, CA

The Cartoon Art Museum in San Francisco will be celebrating Steve Lafler's new graphic novel collection "Menage a Bughouse" with a discussion and signing at the museum at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, July 25. Created by Lafler, the new book collects the three volumes of his Bughouse trilogy: Bughouse, Baja and Scalawag. The event is free to the public. 7/25 "Leaping Tall Buildings" Event with Dean Haspiel, Larry Hama and More in New York, NY

Authors Chris Irving and Seth Kushner will be celebrating the release of their new book Leaping Tall Buildings with a special signing and discussion panel at Jim Hanley's Universe at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, July, 25. Leaping Tall Buildings is a history of the American comics industry including interviews and biographies of a wide array of comics creators. The discussion panel on comics history will include such acclaimed comics creators as Chris Claremont, Larry Hama, Kevin Colden and Dean Haspiel. 7/26 Nathan Fox "Pigeons from Hell" Book Discussion and Signing in New York

Pigeons from Hell creator and artist Nathan Fox will appear at the downtown location of Midtown Comics in Manhattan on July 26 to discuss and sign Pigeons from Hell, which he co-created with Joe R. Lansdale and Dave Stewart. Fox will also give a live demonstration, with the resulting artwork raffled off among the attendees. The event is part of the store's monthly comics book club; admission is free to the public and refreshments will be provided. The event takes place from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. on Friday, August 26.
