1/11: The Cartoon Utopia exhibition in Seattle, WA

An exhibition featuring artwork from cartoonist Ron Regé, Jr.'s mind-bending The Cartoon Utopia opens on Saturday, January 11th with an opening reception and book signings from 6-9 p.m. at Fantagraphics Bookstore & Gallery in Seattle, Washington. Rendered in the artist's signature bright and psychedelic style, the book, centering on a race of "Utopians" who strive to advance their collective conscious beyond the material world of information and entertainment consumption, explores Regé's views on philosophy, religion, magic and the imagination.
