Rachael Rakes has been appointed marketing manager at Verso Books. She has held previous positions managing the marketing and publicity departments at the Feminist Press and AK Press.
Patti Pirooz has been promoted to publisher at Penguin Audio. She started at Penguin in 1999 as audio manager and helped merge the Penguin and Putnam Berkley audio divisions into Penguin Audio.
