Rodale has named Kristin Kiser v-p, deputy publisher, Trade Books and director of author programs. Kiser, most recently v-p and associate publisher at Hyperion, will report to Rodale Books v-p, publisher May Ann Naples and start July 1.

In her new role, Rodale said Kiser will develop Rodale’s publishing program, as well as new products and initiatives with current and perspective authors and brands. Reporting to Kiser will be the sales, marketing, art, rights, and digital departments.
