David Morris has been named v-p and publisher of Zondervan nonfiction trade books. Morris will join Zondervan August 19 and is moving from Guideposts Books where he was v-p and editorial director. Last month, Guideposts Books said it was phasing out its trade book program.
“We are thrilled to welcome David to Zondervan,” said Annette Bourland, senior v-p and group publisher for Zondervan books. “His expertise both in publishing and the Christian industry will serve as a great foundation for growth.” At Zondervan, Morris will replace Tracy Danz who will focus on backlist development for Zondervan nonfiction.
