Medallion Press, which hosted interactive virtual book signing last fall, continues to put new high-tech twists on traditional book promotion strategies. This season, the St. Charles, Ill. publisher is introducing the “action interview” audio download. Instead of the author discussing his or her work with an interviewer, the author will be accompanied by actors and sound effects to project listeners into select scenes of the book and immerse them in the plot, alongside the characters. Each action interview will last between 10-20 minutes, and will be available as part of the entire Medallion Press Radio monthly podcast, or by itself as an individual download.
