Seattle-based independent publisher Sasquatch Books has announced it is entering a sales and distribution agreement with Random House Publisher Services, effective January 1, 2012. The agreement covers physical and e-book distribution in US, Canada, and international territories, as well as in both trade and special markets.

Sasquatch Books, founded in the late 1980s, began as a Pacific Northwest regional publisher and over the years has grown its reach with titles such as the Book Lust series by Nancy Pearl and The Encyclopedia of Country Living by Carla Emery.

“We think this move will give our books and our authors access to a wider audience of book lovers,” said Sasquatch Books president/publisher Gary Luke.
