E-book and digital platform provider ebrary announced this week that it has partnered with James Bennett, a leading library acquisitions services supplier, to facilitate e-book access at libraries throughout Australia. James Bennett is a major Australia-based library supplier, and is part of the Baker & Taylor group. Australian libraries can now integrate ebrary’s e-books into their acquisition workflow by ordering directly through James Bennett Online (JBO).

In addition, ebrary officials announced a new publishing partner in Australia: the Australian Academic Press, a niche academic publisher for the behavioral sciences, specializing in psychology. Established in 1987, the press publishes a range of books, evidence-based clinical treatment and prevention resources, scholarly monographs, and journals, for both the academic and trade markets, and adds to ebrary’s considerable academic offerings—currently more than 273,000 e-books from over 500 publishers.
