The Rowman & Littlefield Publishing Group (RLPG) and the Medical Library Association (MLA) this week announced a new co-publishing partnership. Under the deal, MLA, a nonprofit, educational organization of some 4,000 individual and institutional members in the health sciences, will also continue to work with its current co-publisher Neal-Schuman, (which was recently purchased by the American Library Association), while working with RLPG on “new book projects” and “exploring opportunities in innovative publishing formats and reaching wider audiences.” Books co-published by MLA and RLPG will be published under the Rowman & Littlefield imprint.
