Grand Central Publishing has acquired 25 of Sandra Brown's backlist titles, bringing them to e-book for the first time, and will release them in stages around the publication of her newest thriller, Deadline, set for a September 17 pub date.

The year-long e-book campaign began on February 26 with four of Brown's thrillers, Slow Heat in Heaven; Best Kept Secrets; Mirror Image; and Breath of Scandal. Every two months through August, Grand Central will release four additional suspense titles. Then, in December 2013, the publisher will release nine of Brown's early romance titles. With the exception of Mirror Image, French Silk, The Witness, and Envy (which will sell for $1.99 each), all titles will retail for $4.99.

Brown's last two hardcover releases both debuted in the top five on the New York Times bestsellers lists: according to Grand Central, Lethal sold 671,000 copies in print and 212,000 copies in e-books; Low Pressure sold 310,000 copies in print and 122,000 copies in e-books.
