PRH Unveils New Logo

Penguin Random House has introduced its newly designed logo, replacing the interim PRH logo, which has been in place since the merger was made official 11 months ago. The wordmark, per PRH, will most often be paired with one of the publisher’s 250 divisions, imprints, and brands.

Hachette Cuts 28

Hachette Book Group cut 28 positions last week, about 3% of its U.S. staff. A statement from the publisher said the move is part of a “cost-saving initiative.”

B&N Partners With Samsung

Einhorn Joining Flatiron Books

Amy Einhorn, who recently left PRH, where she headed Amy Einhorn Books, will join Macmillan’s Flatiron Books imprint as senior v-p and publisher starting July 21.
