The Tabernacle by Eric J. Bouchoc-- known for his 3-D images and videos—is an expanded edition, coffee-table book with an accompanying DVD from AMG Publishers (May). The volume, a visual reference guide to the tabernacle described in the Book of Exodus, is part of The Restoration Project from Bouchoc’s AnimMan Studios; the project develops digital art in books, video, and other media to illustrate Bible stories. Bouchoc’s work has been honored by the National Religious Broadcasters and the Christian Filmmaker Film Festival.
The Torah Book of Opposites by Nechamy Segal, illus. by Marc Lumer (Hachai, May) opens the Torah, and the concept of opposite words, to babies and toddlers in oversize board book format. Segal is a preschool educator; Lumer is a commercial designer and illustrator.
