Relationship Guru Lands at FaithWords

Keren Baltzer, senior editor at FaithWords, took world rights from Blythe Daniel of the Blythe Daniel Agency, to a book by Ashley Willis, a syndicated blogger for Patheos/Beliefnet. Slated for publication in spring 2020 and tentatively titled Peace Pirates, the book will help readers identify "stressors" that challenge their contentment as mothers, according to the publisher.

IVP Takes A Mother’s Letters

Donald W. Gates Jr. of the Gates Group sold world rights to IVP’s editorial director Cindy Bunch for Mother to Son (working title) by Jasmine Holmes (Joyfully at Home). In it, Holmes collects letters written to her young son that examine the church at large and issues surrounding racial reconciliation, according to the publisher. Mother to Son is scheduled for publication in winter 2020.

An Eyewitness for Discovery House

Mike Nappa, acquiring editor for Discovery House, took world rights to Eyewitness to Crucifixion by Stephen M. Miller (The One-Stop History of the Bible). The book, which is expected to go on sale in February 2020, draws on Roman history to detail what happened when Jesus was killed on the cross, according to the publisher. Steve Laube at the Steve Laube Agency brokered the deal.
