J.K. Rowling's The Casual Vacancy publishes next week and is sure to be one of the biggest books of the year, but Little, Brown, the book's publisher, is being very tight-lipped about what readers can expect in the first adult novel by the creator of Harry Potter. What we do know is the novel is set in the fictional English town of Pagford, where the untimely death of a town councilman "becomes the catalyst for the biggest war the town has yet seen."
A good start, but it's not much to go on.
