Publishers Weekly, the leading print publication serving the international book trade, and BookBrunch, the U.K.’s online book trade news and information service which celebrates its third birthday in October, are once again joining forces with to publish three issues of the Frankfurt Fair Dealer at Frankfurt from Wednesday, October 12, through Friday, October 14.

As with previous Fair Dealer editions at both Frankfurt and London, the three print dailies will offer a lively and authoritative mix of features and think-pieces written by journalists from the two publications, and by some of the most respected figures in the international publishing industry, as well as all the Fair’s unfolding news.

In New York, PW president George Slowik Jr. said: “This continued partnership is an important part of our annual communications with our users. The contents of the Frankfurt Fair Dealer will be online this year and included in our iPad app available to all PW subscribers. In that manner fairgoers and those who cannot attend can keep abreast of important international developments at the show.”

Cevin Bryerman, PW publisher, added: “This year’s London Fair Dealer as well as our BEA Show Daily were the most successful publications we’ve published at those events. We expect the Frankfurt Fair Dealer to join the ranks with its combination of unique and timely editorial supported by strategic advertising.”

Liz Thomson, co-founder with Nicholas Clee of BookBrunch, said: “The partnership with Publishers Weekly has been as gratifying as it has been energizing and the enduring shared endeavor of our twice-yearly Fair Dealers is a healthy shot in the arm for us. And we know how much the book trade, both at home and abroad, appreciates their breadth of coverage and the accuracy and fairness brought to them. Informative and entertaining, the Frankfurt Fair Dealers help set the agenda and are a must-read for all fair-goers.”
