Readers, authors, and publishers gathered together at Brooklyn Borough Hall in New York City on September 20 for the 10th annual Brooklyn Book Festival, featuring programs for both children and adults. The children’s events kicked off a day early, and the Festival’s Children’s Day on September 19, with additional programming for young readers continued on the official festival day. Below are some highlights from the children’s events, including some kid lit cosplay, live illustration demonstrations, and star-author-studded panels.
