The Sales Manager – Ministry Sales is responsible for selling Abingdon Press products through Ministry and business organizations. The incumbent works closely with the Abingdon Press publishing units to create unique selling opportunities in the market through a dedicated and aggressive bulk and custom sales program. The incumbent works with sales, marketing, publishing, and others within the organization to network and develop a new customer base, understanding their needs and creating opportunities for unique product development and sales. The incumbent is responsible for maintaining current knowledge of all new products through communication with the publishing and marketing teams, maintaining and communicating accurate orders and customer communications, providing updated customer reports, and compiling accurate expense and budgetary reports. The incumbent also works closely with product development teams to improve and increase sales of future products by providing commentary and customer feedback regarding market trends, customer needs, and competitive products and programs.
