Description | Cambridge University Press seeks a Commissioning Editor for its high quality ELT/ESL print and digital materials for the English for Academic purposes markets. Primary responsibilities include identifying publishing opportunities, commissioning new authors, developing publishing proposals, championing new products from concept to creation, and researching trends in EAP markets. The ideal candidate will have at least four years’ experience commissioning or editing ESL/EFL, Foreign Language or similar educational products. An MA in TESOL (or other recognized TESOL/TEFL qualification) or ESL/EFL teaching experience is preferred. Candidates should also have strong organizational and communication skills, enthusiasm, flexibility, and team spirit. Experience with multi-media formats and delivery (online, LMS, mobile, etc.) preferred. This position requires up to six weeks a year to travel to campuses in the US and overseas.
