Description
Leading technology association and publisher seeks an experienced publishing person to manage all aspects of its 40 journals and transactions.

A minimum of 7 years experience in digital and print publishing is required.
Scholarly society experience is helpful, but not mandatory.
Familiarity with authoring tools including LaTeX is useful.

The principle duties of the position are:

Manage timely production and quality of all journals and transactions both online and in print.
Work with all Editors-in-Chief to orient them to responsibilities, assist them with manuscript tracking set-up, and ensure adherence to page and expense budgets.
Prepare and present journal viability metrics and reports to Publications Board.
Work with Volunteer Information Directors to set up journal home pages and ensure currency and consistency.
Manage vendor relations and coordinate vendor deliveries with in-house Digital Library production staff.
Assist in development of new titles.
Inform staff of new launches and coordinate journal promotion campaigns with marketing staff.
Monitor, investigate, and evaluate digital journal production technologies.
Represent the Association at industry meetings.

Position reports to the Director of Publications.
