Job Description:

Seeking a Full Time Business Development Representative with experience on the publisher side of the publishing industry. The Business Development Representative will help publishers to understand our business model, negotiate contracts and service agreements, sign them on as clients and guide them through the set-up process. Extensive knowledge of the publishing industry is a must, experience in e-books is ideal.

Responsibilities:
• Leverage, establish and develop contacts within the publisher population in the publishing industry;
• Assist publishers with understanding our digital media business model;
• Present a strategic perspective to publishers which brings them the benefits of our broad distribution and marketing campaigns;
• Explain INscribe services with great detail and negotiate contracts and service agreements
• Evaluate and discuss marketing opportunities in order to develop the most productive service agreement for clients
• Represent INscribe Digital at sales conferences, industry conferences and publisher events
Requirements:
• A minimum of 5 years experience in the publishing industry; e-book experience preferred
• Ability to understand and communicate the benefits of our digital media distribution business model;
• Established contacts within the Publishing industry highly desirable;
• Independent, Proactive & Analytical thinker;
• Ability to work creatively to bring a new business model to the publishing industry;
• Ability to negotiate fairly and effectively on behalf of INscribe Digital with potential clients
• Understanding of marketing needs for publishers
• Understanding of how the various e-book retailers function and how to best represent potential clients’ interests
• Partner as need be with Client Services team for INscribe, as well as retailers and INgrooves staff, accounting team.
• Tech industry background ideal.
• Some travel is required
