Our publications range from medicine to all fields of life sciences, and from mathematics to engineering.

The Associate Editor will perform all necessary administrative tasks to support the Editorial Director, while gaining experience and growing into a more independent acquisition role which leads up to being responsible for up to one astrophysics journal and a book program which can grow to a maximum of twelve titles per year. The Associate Editor will add to the portfolio of the Editorial Director who is supervising him/her, or the program of other Editors in the team. The job will involve extensive editor/author contact, proposal review, contract negotiation, preparation of manuscripts for production, and promotional planning. The Associate Editor will be trained by an Editor to take on further (financial) responsibilities in the future.

Job Requirements:
-College degree with advanced degree in the specific subject area strongly preferred
-Experience as an assistant editor, or editorial assistant, or 2-3 years in publishing required
-Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills required
-Must be willing and able to travel up to five weeks per year for the company
